Jharkhand The Hidden Jewel  (Depertment of Tourism, Government of Jharkhand)

Maluti’s terracotta temples have survived four centuries of nature’s vagaries. Now, tragically, they are in different stages of decay. In 2009, an NGO called Save Heritage and Environment (SHE) contacted the Global Heritage Fund (GHF) to help with the conservation of this unique village. Eventually, GHF declared this village one of the world’s twelve vanishing cultural heritage sites. Maluti is the lone representative from India on that list.
